As well, to develop a strong community of Key Users in our site PC&L departments.The team ensures to keep up to date with industry standards and innovations thru benchmark and best practices.About this positionThe SAP Business Process Expert for BPE Procure to Pay Process Projects will lead projects to design, develop, implement and drive continuous improvements of the standardized business capabilities needed to successful execute the procure to pay process with a key emphasis on leading cross functional projects. Expertise to included Vendor Master, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Scheduling Agreements, Supplier Schedules, Supplier Electronic Data Interchange, Receiving, Quality Module, Subcontracting, Accounts Payable, Complex Interfaces, Reporting Dashboards, Audits, and Sarbanes and Oxley. The Business process ownership starts with ensuring accurate master data and robust rules surrounding master data fields associated with the procure to pay process. The key system is SAP (MM Module), and the BPE works closely together with the team from Production Planning Team, Supply Chain Management Team (Purchasing), Supplier EDI Team and the Key Users in the plant. Common Supplier Scheduling methods and common Supplier Scheduling reporting and dashboard for plant users to utilize are examples.The objectives are ownership and ensure System and Business process standards are kept in one place globally, identify together with the Site Key Users and the other BPO teams best practices and ensure new processes are implemented following the rules and guidelines.The other two areas of business process ownership are DTS (Demand to Supply - Plant Operations) and OTC (Order to Cash). This position belongs to the Business processes of PTP (Procure to Pay), all three groups are owning the full end to end flow from supplier to customer.Responsibilities and duties- Business process ownership of the SAP master data and process associated with assigned Procure to Pay Projects. This includes developing and roll out of new or changed business processes, create training material, provide Key User and End User training, create report / dashboard / Key process Indicators (KPI) and lead routinely meetings with the plant Key User community to identify Best Business Practices.Collaborate together with IT function to ensure SAP ERP and external systems relevant to procure to payment are in sync.Execute capability maturity assessment, translate these into business requirements and prioritizeIn case of global or regional special projects, the BPE will be a main participant in the project team.Collaborate in business transformations to provide expert support in diagnosis of processes within area of expertiseBeing a change agent by clarifying the linking impact of the new solutions and ways of working including the IT, data, people, process solutions.Continuously monitor process performance, analytics and identify opportunities for improvement and collect and review process change and improvement proposals from the organization, bring forward relevant change proposals to the BPOs, support local improvements where necessary.The position may be required to travel up to 50% of their time. Frequent visits to our APTIV facilities globally will be required.The candidate shall be located near or in one of our main manufacturing facilities in EMEA: Gdansk (Poland), Szombathely (Hungary) or Braga (Portugal) or Engineering Center Krakow (Poland).Basic qualificationsBachelor of Science Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience. Professional User in SAP MM Module with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing industry.
