We are now looking for talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey as we build our presence in Romania.Working at NTTRole and Responsibilities:Plans and implements activities related to the purchasing of materials, equipment and services for internal company use.Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.Actively promote and champion the use of best practices to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and proceduresDevelops, communicates, and enforces company policies and procedures for purchasingReviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount.Highlighting any major commercial risks or issues to Management and work with them to ensure the optimum solutionMonitors the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts.Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materialsDevelops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutionsEnsures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levelsCoordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory-carrying costsReviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventoryMay assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system.May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies.ReportsPrepare monthly reports considering the established KPIs for Procurement team activitiesProduce reports and statistics as per the business needsPrepare and distribute ad-hoc reports as required by the business or the managementEnsure proper control checks are adhered to, so that errors are minimized/ eliminatedReport any non-compliance issues to the management and recommend precautionary measuresOversee and assist the month end closing processes and various financial & operational auditsPeople managementEnsure that direct reporting employees are engaged and understand their career opportunitiesResponsible for the development and training of the team membersEnsure that people have the relevant skills and training to support the procurement processesPerform regular assessment considering the team members professional performanceWhat will make you a good fit for the role?Your profile:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance/ Economics or a similar field preferredOver 5 years of experience in Procurement ProcessesFluent in English both written and verbalFluent in German/French/Dutch or any other foreign language both written and verbal would be an assetStrong Excel skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Power Point, Word, Outlook) and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systemsExperience in SAP is requiredStrong Excel skills and good command of MS OfficeExperience in SAP is mandatoryExcellent verbal and written communication skills and establish co-operative and workingrelationships with business operations departmentsSolid client service orientationStrong analytical skills and proactive approach to be able to work independentlyAble to cope well in conflict situations and display the ability to handle pressureExpertise of generally accepted accounting principles and able to interpret these to facilitategood decision makingShow leadership and plan their work processes to successfully execute their jobCommitment to Confidentiality, Integrity & AccountabilityTeam player & process driven personJoin our growing global team and accelerate your career with us.
