The role works as part of a professional and friendly team spanning our London, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur and Bucharest offices – giving you excellent exposure to working in an international environment.This position will report to the Product Manager of QS Stars and will be responsible for supporting them and the product management team on a variety of projects and analysis to improve the effectiveness of the Stars product. The Product Analyst will have an important contribution to improve our systems for delivery as well as analysing the market to develop new opportunities. This will require the ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar situations, confidence to work independently, and excellent relationship management skills. You will be creative in your thinking and have an interest in improving various aspects of the QS Stars product, but with a focus on the technical. Responsibilities include: Conducting user research and providing resulting actions to the product team. Data analysis – preparing reports and interpret data sets to drive growth of the product. Develop, test and deliver enhancements to the product and systems. Researching and developing enhancements to evaluation methodologies. Establish and maintain product policies and approaches. Engage teams across the business, including data, technology, marketing, sales and other stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of the product. Developing strengthened reporting, including using Tableau as a reporting tool. Involvement in a range of other projects as required. We’d love to hear from you if you have most or all of the following: You will have previous experience working in a technical environment, ideally in data or business analysis, and will have experience of working with data in Microsoft Excel, SQL queries and data visualization tools such as Tableau. Naturally, you’ll be experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative data and synthesising clear narratives and conclusions.You will be comfortable working with data and various software tools, a critical thinker used to problem solving. You will have excellent decision-making skills, be deadline-orientated with an exceptional eye for detail.
