FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY The role will be focused on typical product marketing covering new domains related to Garrett's energine pipeline products portfolio. Identify growth opportunities ouside of Garrett's core turbo business, with emphasis on electrified powertrains, and non-automotive applications of Garrett's core turbomachinary and electric boosting products and capabilities. Quantify, build business case, proposal value Responsibilities include: Proven track record in product marketing: 50% - Monitoring disruptive automotive trends related to vechicle electrification, battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles, identifying key shifts that can create markets for new products or substantial changes in existing products - Working with customer teams to understand customer needs / unsolved tech challenges for to support new concept downselection - Derive required GTX value proposition for new pipeline technologies and develop value-based pricing model for new technologies - Work with Engineering teams to ensure that potential new product offering delivers performance in line with value proposition - Work with BTI/ pipeline EPM to build & maintain product business cases - Define key business and market hurdles new concept must meet to advance to next development milestone - Work w/ customer teams to prepare PQFs & quotes for Garrett offerings that reflect the value we offer relative to the next best alternative - Build database of competitior pricing offers, incl. underlying tech offerings Work with customer teams to identify Garrett pipeline and innovation business opportunities through customer interactions 20% - Lead OEM VOC discussions to understand unsolved tech challenges => Garrett business opportunities and the value we could bring relative to the NBA - Maintain 'customer playbook' defining sequence of interactions, customer needs, and Garrett key messages across critical customers - Orchestrate preparation of relevant customer meetings, ensuring common quality standard in discussion materials across customers - Aligning DEEP customer engagement w/ all stakegolders across GTX Working with Strategic Marketing Team to understand overall market environment 20% - Understand relevant drivers of new technology adoption (regulation, technology breakthrough, component cost curves, etc) => Monitor industry signposts - Pressure test quantification of new technology industry model in context of technology adoption and LV and CV powertrain macros - Understand emerging market trends, including insourcing, new entrants, JV's and partnerships - Understand customer next best alternative from customer point of view Entrepreneurial spirit: Pushing the organization to go beyond its current capabilities to grow in new domains 10% => Identify gaps in Garrett capabilities and work with X-functional stakeholders to address those - Work with CoV team to align development of complementary software & hardware offerings - Align Should-cost team, ISC and SB during all technology development phases to maximize GTX win-% AND profitability and to meet industrialization challenges - Work w/ MARCOM and PWT team to demonstrate GTX offering / capabilities to industry decision makers YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor Degree, MBA is an advantage Strong problem-solving skills 80:20 mindset to drive results for competing priorities Strong analytics and zero-defect working style Results orientation è Driving pragmatic solutions for the business Entrepreneurial spirit & business acumen Strong, top-down communication skills Fluent in English, further EUR languages a plus WE VALUE Demonstrated results in Product Marketing Proven track record in entrepreneurial projects / new business ventures Deep understanding of electrified vehicle powertrains
