At Amyris (Permanent), in Lisbon, PortugalExpires at: 2023-02-08Remote policy: Full remoteAmyris is a science and technology leader in the research, development, and production of sustainable ingredients for the Clean Health & Beauty and Flavors & Fragrances markets.We seek a hands-on Product Owner to join the Amyris Digital Team, which manages website development and related technology and back-office infrastructure for our “no compromise” consumer brands. ResponsibilitiesDrive product requirements gathering, documentation, and execution through smart-decision making, analysis, strong planning, and oversightChampion Agile methodologies and be a key owner of backlog prioritization working with the senior product leadership team and other cross-functional stakeholders.Participate in sprint ceremonies, daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and grooming sessions Execute short- and long-term product launches and improvements to support bringing infrastructure and digital platforms to their full potentialCreate project plans for managing and tracking roadmap delivery Analyze data, functionality, and infrastructure to identify opportunities for enhancementsTranslate product strategy and work cross-functionally to write detailed requirements and use cases for new products, features, enhancements, and opportunities to ensure the stability of our infrastructure and to accelerate growthAnalyze data to unearth issues and propose enhancements and communicate delivery updates to various stakeholders Work collaboratively with internal partners and external vendors to drive product launches and enhancementsOversee and execute evaluations of third party platforms, tools, and servicesCollaborate with project owners to define the scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact, budget, and available resourcesEffectively communicate requirements to software engineers and ensure they are being met, resolving issues back upstream with business stakeholdersAssess and validate prototypes and perform acceptance testing on final deliveryOwn internal sprint planning and resource allocation of the technical team for one or more brandsWork closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resourcesLead QA and troubleshooting efforts, personal plus leveraging QA personnelIdentify risks and proactively prepare risk mitigation plansGain a deep understanding of customer experience, and in partnership with business stakeholders, identify and fill product gaps and support the generation of new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growthMain requirements3+ years experience in website Software Product Management or comparable experienceSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologiesSolid understanding of digital technology and basic UX principlesAbility to analyze data, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the jobAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with software developers, business users, cross-functional partners and vendors, and other outside partnersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Agile Scrum, project tasking tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana)Experience working with project tasking tools (e.g., JIRA ).Good understanding of the leading eCommerce ecosystemsAgile testing methodologyCustomer FocusDrive for ResultsTeamwork and CollaborationBenefits & PerksGet in early and help set the culture for a new development team that values fun, excellence, empowerment, and responsibilityWork Equipment, including a New 16" Macbook Pro (unless you prefer something else)Health InsuranceTraining&DevelopmentRegular performance reviews for rapid Career Growth24 paid Vacation DaysFlexible Working HoursRemote-friendly Environment (Portugal based)Opportunities for personal and professional growth
