Production Planning Team Lead in Oradea

Purpose Statement: The objective of the Production Planning Team Lead is to command the production schedule of shared equipment resources. Liaising with site focus factory managers and supervisors to prioritize the work orders through the shared work centers. Key Job Accountabilities:Act as liaison to customer or focus factory for tactical issues, including prioritization and communication of plan to impacted teams.Responsible for ensuring a feasible Master Production Schedule exists.Mentor and manage direct reports, providing support and leadership. This should include monitoring workload distribution among the team members and allocating tasks appropriately.Responsible for the competence, training and development of the Planning team, and ensure the functional teams adhere to SOP and Work Instructions.Additional Accountabilities:Monitor production plan against actual output.Perform system transactions as required, to ensure accuracy is maintained.Engage with warehouse on materials and kit availability.Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and lean projects for Materials and Manufacturing as assigned.Complete employee performance evaluations on a timely basis and provide constructive feedback.Ensure Production Planner compliance to corporate SOP's. Monitor the work order schedule and notify Customer team of potential problems in meeting Customer Demand, and escalate any potential work order load challenges to the Material Team Manager.Update and maintain all demand planning metrics and additional metrics as assigned by the Materials Team Manager.Maintain scheduling and demand history files for each MPS/MR.Responsible for key performance indicators such as Aged Work Orders, Past Due Demand, and On-time Shipments.Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.Two (2) years of related experience is required.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications: Strong MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.Working knowledge of Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) and demand planning systems.Excellent communication skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Detail oriented.Able to work in dynamic environment.Work Environment:The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
