Your day to day:Ensure the delivery of GNO Digital Programs through defining the required projects, using appropriately agile, DevOps and waterfall deliveries, build the planning: time, work allocation, resources, organisation and governance, and ensure execution of the plan by managing the program team, address the risks and appropriate support and escalations to the top management. The Program Manager is leading digital projects included in the GNO (Group Network Operations) Digital Strategy. You are an admired leader who will manage a project/programme team of multi-disciplined IT experts, business stakeholders and IT Partners, to delivery key Business outcomes, ensuring KPIs are met in areas such as automation, quality assurance, on time delivery, budget and DevOps. You will immerse yourself in the Vodafone transition to a digital organisation. You will champion “agile ways of working” and be hungry for innovation and will embrace creativity, experimentation and risk taking with a “fail fast” mentality.With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Delivery key Business, Commercial, IT and Security programmes. Accountable for programme budgets and bringing delivery in on budget to the Head of Department. Define priorities for the project components, deadlines, ensures the quality of project deliverables. Monitors all stages of the project from beginning to end, from business specifications to the last deliverable. Track and manage risks and issues of the delivery team Develop strong close working relationship with Business Stakeholders and a diverse team of IT professionals on the programme. Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement to TTM through; Agile, IT Automation & Dev-Ops Guide the team on how to get the most out of self-organization and cooperation (within and across teams), promoting continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning methods and technical practices (CI/CD, TDD, etc.) Guide the team to be self-organized and promoting the team learning by building a trust and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution; With these skills you are a great candidate: Experience as a Project Manager for at least 1 year in a software development team is desirable; Experience working in a cross-teams environment, different cultures, co-location will be a plus; Good analytic and critical thinking with a problem-solving drive and root cause analysis drive; Problem solver. Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to work cross functional teams to translate business issues into potential analytics solutions. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, namely Scrum and Kanban. Good analytical skills (listening, questioning, challenging etc.) Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, MIS or a related Analytical or Business field.
