Git (nice to have) MySQL (nice to have) Snowflake (junior) SQL (advanced) Python (advanced) About the project:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mid-level Python developer to join our proprietary trading desk at Respect Energy. As a member of our team, you will work closely with a trader and data analysts to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions that drive our business forward. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a trader and data analysts to develop and deploy software solutions- Design and develop new features and functionality for large-scale, data-driven trading strategies- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python and related frameworks- Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and other data infrastructure- Conduct code reviews and write unit tests to ensure software quality and stability Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field- Minimum 2 years of experience as a software engineer- In-depth experience working in Python and SQL- Experience working with relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (like MySQL, Snowflake)- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques- Experience with version control systems such as Git- Excellent communication and collaboration skills applicable to a dynamic trading environment Nice to have:- Familiarity with proprietary trading and market making is a plus Recruitment stages:Algorithmics and programming test in PythonRecruitment interview with a programming task
