If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today!The QAE will be part of a team supporting the development of online applications used for data collection, item banking, testing/assessments, education, and training in the area of applied research. Work may include but not be limited to independent software verification and validation of computer administered tests, surveys, and other data collection software. The QAE will also evaluate, write, and review documents, plans, code, requirements, and specifications. They will also develop test scripts and implement testing to satisfy software requirements and functionality. US Citizenship is REQUIRED for this position due to contract specifications. Qualified individuals should have:A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Equivalent technical training, education, certifications, or work experience may be considered.Knowledge and understanding of QA requirements and processes, testing or programming.For a Q1 level candidate: Work experience is preferred but not required, supporting full QA services in defining, implementing, and enhancing testing, quality assurance and release procedures. For a Q2 level candidate: A minimum of three to five years of experience is highly preferred, supporting full QA services in defining, implementing, and enhancing testing, quality assurance and release procedures.Must be experienced (Q1) or proficient (Q2) using automated test tools for integration and acceptance testing.Must be experienced (Q1) or proficient (Q2) with load testing tools.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, clients, and partners.The ability to work independently, take high level directions and put solutions in place is a must.Passion for product quality, service, and performance.Fast learner, ability to research and pick up new technologies and skills.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Katalon StudiosAWS knowledge is a plus.
