We are looking for an organized, innovative, process driven colleague to join our team.Your day-to-day responsibilities include: You build a strong professional relationship and excellent collaboration with the business unit from the allocated country; You assess the process performance requirements considering customer expectations. You perform month/quarterly/annual closure activities in accordance with agreed group/local policies such as: Bank Allocation, Journal postings, Accrual calculations, Fixed Assets activities, Performing reports as per client needs, VAT Closure, Posting Revaluation, Closing Ledgers/Balance Carry Forward, BFC packs preparation & loading, Preparing BS Reconciliations & investigation in case of any discrepancies; You track and resolve issues escalated by the customers; You perform other ad hoc requests; Skills we can’t do without: Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance; German at least at B2 level, English at very good level Knowledge of basic accounting principles; Relevant experience in a shared service center environment, accounting, or financial area; Transition experience would be considered a plus; Good knowledge of Record to report process (2+ years); Very good knowledge in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.); Nice to have experience in transitions remote or on-site; Skills we’d like: High motivation and ability to learn; Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment; Ability to work independently & collaboratively, open-minded and proactive attitude; Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential matters; Attention to details; Benefits: Contract Type: full-time; 21 vacations days per year plus 1 more day for your Birthday; Access to a global network of learning and development; Private health subscription and meal vouchers; Opportunity for professional development; More reasons to join us: What’s more, we really value your progress and it’s a top priority to engage, inspire and develop you to help you maximize your potential.
