You use data to ensure that our team is building the right experiences and creating tangible business value. You own turning analysis into insight about our sales reps, our compensation and the sales plan opportunities we should be implementing. You excel at communicating those insights – in dashboards, slides, and presentations – and influencing the priorities of product owners, key stakeholders and business leaders. You also present your data at the highest levels of HP with the key stakeholders and leaders who ultimately will use them to adjust our future course.Conduct and summarize complex data and business analyses to develop business reports, provide insights and recommendations, including compensation and cost projections, operational KPIs, etc.Owns the research and data analysis for complex projects; may lead low complexity projects.Develop fact-based analyses to inform decisions and drive impactAnalyze internal performance, industry trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunitiesValidate hypotheses and data with analytical rigorResearch, analyze and recommend courses of actionWork closely with different business groups and functions within Sales Compensation and Experience team, collaborate with key Global and Regional stakeholders to understand business requirements related to Compensation analysisPrepare communications that follow a logically- reasoned, data-supported approach, allowing executives to understand the details linked to the big picture Represents the needs of the business or function during moderately complex process improvement projects.Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of moderate complexity, and understand business/customer impact.Utilizes standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches.Drives projects and implements process changes in order to meet ongoing business objectives.First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.A minimum three years data analytics experience in supporting large organizational imperativesTypically 4-6 years of related experience in IT/business operations.Quality improvement training required.Solid understanding of Analytics solutions and capabilities, like Data Lakes and Adv. Analytics, and deep understanding of traditional BI incl. Data profilingWorking knowledge of Analytics as well as BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBIExperience with SQL and/or PythonA successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.Demonstrated experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment to achieve a common resultPassion for data & delivering data driven outcomesDemonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requestsExcellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniquesStrong knowledge of Excel, PPT, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modelling.Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibilityExperience with data visualization and presenting data in a clear and simple mannerHands-on technical skills, ready to learn more and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvementAble to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a global and multicultural environmentStrong analytical skills and work easily with numbers and multi-dimensional dataStrong communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation).
