The Digital Technical & Engineering team (DTE) within Estee Lauder Companies IT is a fast-growing and continuously modernizing organization enabling the business agenda at Estee Lauder. As the global delivery arm of Information Technology, DTE is a high-energy and fast-paced team with new and exciting technologies continuously being added to our technology ecosystem. As part of DTE, the Manufacturing and Warehousing Technical Architect will be responsible for the delivery of projects for Estee Lauder Supply Chain. DTE is responsible for the design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, go live and handover of manufacturing and logistical solutions. This role will be required to cover Manufacturing and Plant Warehousing solutions and processes. As technology is at the forefront of enabling our business, IT has established multiple modern technology hubs where innovation and collaboration are optimized. This role will be based out of our Bucharest Technology Hub. Activities will include: SAP Manufacturing and Warehouse Management modules configuration based on requirements identified by the Supply Chain Functions team working in concert with business stakeholders. Identification of FITS and GAPs based on requirements, design of solutions, and writing of functional specifications to support approved GAPS. Working with developers to ensure understanding of functional specifications, providing test data in support of developments. Unit Testing of configuration and development objects. System Integration Testing of solutions prior to handover to Supply Chain Functions for User Acceptance Testing. Documentation of solutions. Resolution of issues found during User Acceptance Testing. Preparation for Go-Live, including cutover plans, documentation of manual system setup, transport lists, etc. Go live – ensuring changes are successfully deployed to production, with system setup completed as per the cutover plan. Providing initial hyper care of technical issues. Handover of the solution to Tech Ops team who are responsible for ongoing support and enhancements. Take ownership and responsibility of project assignments, including plan and managing all personal tasks associated with the project. Engage, collaborate, and partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance and improve Estee Lauder solutions. Engage and collaborate with the DTE team to understand Estee Lauder processes and custom design. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to business and colleagues for Manufacturing and Warehouse Management solutions. Qualifications Qualifications: A proven track record of solution delivery across Manufacturing and Warehouse Management in a large multi-national organization. Must be confident in their knowledge, experience, and ability to design and deliver complex solutions, with a minimum of 10 years of experience with multiple global implementations. In-depth knowledge of SAP Manufacturing and Plant Warehousing processes. Deep understanding of key processes including Process Order Execution, Plant Warehouse Management, Receiving, Outbound Shipping, RF transactions in SAP ECC. Experience working with SAP S4 would be beneficial. Experience with integration of manufacturing, and logistic execution processes into Third Party Logistics partners, including interface and integration protocols. Experience with connectivity and/or integration into manufacturing and warehouse management systems such as MES, Batch Execution, WES, ASRS, conveyors, robotics, and storage systems. Expertise in leveraging standard system capabilities and designing custom solutions within the SAP ecosystem and complimentary supply chain logistical applications. Experience with API integration and Cloud hosted solution architecture a plus. Working knowledge of Supply Chain processes. Self-starter who is proactive with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the Estee Lauder Global processes and procedures . Experience working in a Global Template environment. Well-versed in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid-Agile project delivery methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
