Native Apps (advanced) CapacitorJS (advanced) Android (master) Java (master) Kotlin (master) Role OverviewGiven our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to come join our global business.Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering and working collaboratively with Principal and Staff Engineers, you will be accountable for development of the greenfield Android marketplace app. We are migrating our previous hybrid stack into native to incorporate the best look, feel and usability.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, who likes to work autonomously, enjoys a challenge and wants to make an impact!What you’ll do:Development of the best in class marketplace appTailor best class UI/UX along with animations, transitions, responsiveness and qualityHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationContribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growthMigrate existing CapacitorJS application to fully native appDevelop unit and UI tests to ensure the best quality of the productSkills and experience required:6+ years of experience as an Android engineerAttention to detail, animations and transitionsUnderstanding of the native platform UI/UX patternsExpert knowledge of Kotlin and JavaExcellent knowledge of Coroutines, multi-module projects, DIFamiliarity with Koin, Retrofit, OKHttp, ViewBinding, Firebase, GradleExperience with Google Play Store releases automation, eg.: FastlaneDeep Linking, reusable screens and navigationExcellent communication skillsSkills and experience nice to have:Understanding of Javascript / Typescript and NodeJSCI/CD tools like CircleCI/ JenkinsHands on experience in development for other mobile platformsInclusive workforceAt Fresha, creating a culture where individuals of all backgrounds feel comfortable matters.We want all Fresha people to feel included and truly empowered to contribute fully to our vision and goals.
