DescriptionPosition: Senior Associate, Entrepreneur Selection & Growth Location: Bucharest, Romania Reports to: Managing Director, Romania Works with: Endeavor Global, Members of the local network, Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Endeavor Candidates Objective: Identify and select Romanian High-Impact Entrepreneurs. Support selected entrepreneurs through access to capital, markets and talent. Key Responsibilities 1. Selection of highest potential entrepreneurs (40%) Support entrepreneurs through the Endeavor selection process through mentor research and outreach, meeting coordination, and detailed note-taking and follow up Prepare and train entrepreneur candidates for Endeavor selection panels Prepare for and participate in local and international selection events Research and write high-quality entrepreneur and company profiles used throughout the selection process Oversee the upkeep of operational data on candidate pipeline and selected entrepreneurs 2. Acceleration of entrepreneur growth and impact through Endeavor services (40%) Help selected Endeavor Entrepreneurs grow faster and more effectively by proactively managing their required support through Endeavor’s services across Access to Capital, Mentors, Markets and Talent Anticipate and assess the needs of selected entrepreneurs Contribute to the creation of new entrepreneur services where required in the regional market 3. Expansion of the Endeavor brand and communications across the local and regional entrepreneurial ecosystem (20%) Share and amplify the Endeavor brand in the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem Leverage social media, newsletters, and other communication channels to promote Endeavor Entrepreneurs and the work that Endeavor does in support of entrepreneurs Contribute content, such as blogs, press releases, and social media posts for Endeavor’s digital channels Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience (consulting, investment banking, private equity, business development, corporate development) Strong writing and analytical skills Exceptional business acumen: ability to identify and evaluate world-class entrepreneurs and companies Strong interest and passion for business, finance, entrepreneurship, and/or international development Experience working with a startup, scale up, or venture capital firm is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
