You will face a disruptive and emerging business model that will push you in several areas, with no boundaries for creation and collaboration.THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a talented Senior Back-end Software Engineer to join our Clients Focus Area (Eligibility Squad) to work in Lisbon!The Eligibility squad is a very dynamic team responsible for making sure only the correct people can use the Gympass benefit provided by the Client. We need to create ways so the HR will properly inform Gympass about who's eligible to be a member, and we often discuss how this can be done.You'll be part of initiatives as a Senior Engineer, contributing to delivering eligibility file exchange, dealing with multiple data to define how to uniquely identify the employees, Single Sign-On, automated integrations via public APIs to be consumed by the clients, and more while dealing with several data protection initiatives, like asymmetric encryption and data masking.YOUR IMPACTAs a Senior Software Engineer, driving initiatives, designing and delivering complex projects along with an A-Players software engineering team;Also, as the Senior engineer, it's expected that you are able to support the other fellow engineers in your team while raising the bar and bringing topics for technical discussions aiming for top-notch engineering;Your deliverables influence B2B and B2C clients around the globe, by creating smooth and easy ways to allow HR to define eligibility criteria, which is the gateway for hundreds of thousands of consumers to achieve their membership;Making room for improvements at engineering level, like finding refactor opportunities and executing those refactories that will bring results to the overall experience in the product;You will have the opportunity to nurture new tech talents, coaching less senior engineers to speed up their learning curve and reach their full potential.Main requirements WHO YOU AREFocus on making things right and better at every opportunity;Solid experience with RESTful APIs written in Java / Kotlin + Spring Boot;Previous experience in TypeScript on NodeJS is a plus;Solid Software quality and test automation mindset;Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8S) experience is desired;Used to work with with microservices, familiar with high volume distributed systems is a plus;Used to work with events and asynchronous solutions;Knowledge of SQL technology to lead troubleshooting through data;Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.Benefits & PerksWHAT WE OFFER YOUWe're a wellness company that is committed to the health and well-being of our employees.
