Senior European VAT controller with English- - - - - - - - - - - -This role is based in the Michelin Shared Services Center in Bucharest, Michelin Corporate & Business Services, where more than 700 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Sales Administration and Personnel.What we’re looking for:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Tax-VAT;University degree, preferable Tax, Accounting or other similar fields but with experience in finance.Global VAT Tax compliance Experience (Controls, preparation, filling, and Improvement), ideally gained within a similar profile role for an International business;Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience working with Tax reporting software and other office tools;Good level of English (any other language will be a plus).The Senior European VAT Controller will:Review and Validate tax and Intrastat returns prepared by Juniors and prepare and file some complex VAT and Intrastat returns.Assist the Manager, coach and train the Tax compliance team and other teams on VAT matters. Also ensure the correct treatment of complex transactions as chain transactions.Review end-to-end process and lead their changes, identifying opportunities of improvement and automation of the process.
