Job Description

 

Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Responsible for the drafting of the Company’s monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports - PNL, BS, and CF.
  • Control over the Company’s bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and aligned with TB.
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting the Company’s annual tax reports.
  • Budget control & perform a monthly review of actual vs. budget and forecast.
  • Drive effective communication with the Finance team.
  • Other finance and administrative assignments as needed.

Payroll & Finance

  • Calculating monthly salaries, bonuses, and allowances, including allowances for social security benefits (sick leave, maternity) related taxes and contributions; 
  • Ensuring that all employee-related changes are performed correctly and timely in relevant systems;
  • Demonstrating functional expertise in the areas of domestic payroll (e.g. income tax, social charges, labor law, medical leaves and indemnities, work relations);
  • Registering all salary information in the payroll software;
  • Performing salary calculations;
  • Processing monthly payroll for company employees accurately and on time, and preparing monthly payroll statements;
  • Reporting different employee changes in Revisal;
  • Processing monthly payroll for company employees accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Reviewing, analyzing and verifying payroll reports for accuracy and making necessary adjustments through established procedures;
  • Managing the relationship with local authorities ITM, AJOFM, CASS, CAS and preparing monthly declarations and reports
  • Preparing and submitting the 112 declarations;
  • Preparing the VAT Reimbursement process
  • Ensuring systems and controls are accurately set up within systems to ensure compliance with the legal guidelines;
  • Preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports as needed by management and accounting/finance
  • Reviewing, analyzing and verifying payroll and financial reports for accuracy, and making necessary adjustments through established procedures;
  • Working with employees regarding questions on payroll, benefits, and/or general administration;
  • Managing the relationship with the banks, ensuring the currency exchange and other specific activities required by the role.

Compliance with local legislation 

  • Fiscal statement preparation and registration, according to local requirements 
  • Keeps track and is up to date and informed of local rules, laws, and regulations on financial and labor law, and informs and advises the management team about compliance with new requirements.
  • Maintains records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting documents 
  • Verify the trial balance and balance sheet to ensure correctness and compliance with Romanian legislation 
  • Manages the relationship with local authorities regarding compliance with local regulations and laws and is the go-to person for audit and other checks.
  • Continuously gathers information and Is up to date with local rules and regulations, in order to inform the management and offer guidance and advice on specific areas.

We are looking for:

  • Senior level experience, at least 5 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting, Payroll, experience in the IT Industry represents an advantage;
  • Certified accountant (CECAR)
  • Advanced English skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Revisal.
  • Experience & good skills in working with accounting software (Saga, SmartBill, WinMentor, etc.)
  • Ability to review and understand legal contracts and understands 
  • Ability to lead processes.
  • Great attention to detail, accuracy, accountability, and dedication.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and good interpersonal skills.
  • A service-oriented, multitasking person with a “Can Do” attitude.
