At Gympass (Permanent), in São Paulo, BrazilExpires at: 2022-08-09Remote policy: Full remoteTHE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a talented Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Partners Focus Area in Brazil! Our Partners Area is accountable for:The offer side of our marketplace (we work to provide a “shop window” for the partners, bringing customers and helping Gympass to have more corporate clients);Helping partners operate inside the marketplace and offer multiple services, gaining new income;Addressing many challenges such as providing autonomy, a self-service setup, business insights, support partners attracting more clients, support new types of partners, build new systems and improve the current ones;Provide APIs to integrate in high scale with CMS (Club Management System) systems.As a Frontend engineer, you will be responsible for developing highly scalable user-facing applications making sure that best practices of modern web development are followed. You will have plenty of opportunities to take part in architectural decisions, suggest improvements and interact with the product team and other business stakeholders in a highly collaborative agile environment.As a senior developer, you are expected to deliver well with no guidance, suggest architectural improvements over time, and become an expert in parts of our complex environment. Also, it is expected you mentor more junior engineers.  YOUR IMPACTEnsure successful delivery of projects, and promote the long-term technical health of our services;Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and stability;Partner with product and design to build highly responsive, intuitive, and sleek experiences that will delight customers and set a high bar for all web applications;Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands;Create new services and capabilities to meet emerging needs as our business grows. Main requirements   WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;6+ years of experience designing and developing highly scalable service applications and with modern agile product development teams of engineers, product managers, and designers;3+ years of experience working with the ReactJS ecosystem - (candidates with Angular or Vue experience will also be considered);3+ years of experience working with GraphQL (Client-side and Server-side) and Rest APIs;Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling-out features to production;Proficient in a broad range of common UX patterns and a good understanding of how a browser works behind the scenes;Experience in integrating with RESTful web services and collaborating with back-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and HTTP status of APIS;Experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of react components;Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking;Experience with micro frontend is a plus;Strong communication skills: able to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders;Passionate and driven by getting thingds done with high quality in a timely manner;Accountable for your decisions and possess a high level of ownership over the products you are delivering. Nice to have Experience with Angular or Vue;Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns;Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking;Experience with micro frontend is a plus. Benefits & PerksWELLNESS: Health, dental, and life insurance health.GYMPASS DISCOUNT: We believe in our mission and encourage our employees and their families to find their passion too.PAID TIME OFF: BR: Vacations after 6 months and 3 days off per yearPAID PARENTAL LEAVE: Welcoming a new child is one of the most special moments in your life and we want our employees to take the time to be present and enjoy their growing family.BR: 100% paid parental leave of 6 weeks to all new parents, of both biological and adopted children, regardless of gender and parent's relationship with the co-parent, Also extended maternity leave under local legislationCAREER GROWTH: Outstanding opportunities for personal and career growth.
