Senior General Ledger Accountant in Bucuresti

Your tasks Performing assigned general ledger activities in a timely and accurate mannerReviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracyPerforming various analyses and preparing account reconciliationsAssisting with financial and tax auditsDocumenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing teamParticipating in more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departmentsContributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accountingDegree in the field of accounting, finance and economics is a plusPrevious experience in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI moduleGood accounting understandingPrevious working experience preferably in large/global organizationsGood technical knowledge of MS office Effective analytical and problem-solving skillsGood attention to details Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlinesWilling to collaborate within a team in order to achieve common goalsAbility to understand multicultural environmentsPrevious experience with transitioning project(s) is considered an advantage Self-motivation, quick learning and creative thinkingVery good English skills, additional European languages are very beneficial Our offer At DB Schenker Global Business Services you are a partner of an accounting excellence and supporting activities team.
