The Area: The Information Security, Resilience, and Privacy departments are responsible for setting enterprise security and privacy policies, standards, and controls that are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Morningstar information. The security, resilience, and privacy teams offer guidance and technical expertise in areas like application security, privacy, policies and procedures, disaster recovery and compliance/regulation. The teams also operate centralized monitoring, analyzes emerging security threats, and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments in collaboration with various business functions to ensure that our information remains secure.The Role: The Information Security Team is looking for a Senior Manager for the newly founded global Center of Excellence which will consist of analysts that work across Morningstar’s Information Security, Enterprise Resilience, and Privacy functions. With the center being newly created, the successful candidate will be empowered to build, shape, and manage the team, with technical guidance provided by our subject matter experts in the different focus areas.The goal of the Center of Excellence is to support the entire global Morningstar business, break down silos within the Security, Resilience, and Privacy functions, and improve the customer service for internal stakeholders. As such, the Senior Manager and team will be creating, documenting, and maintaining processes with associated SLAs and be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for service improvements. The Senior Manager will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and will closely work with business stakeholders and the remainder of the Information Security, Resilience, and Privacy teams.Job Responsibilities• Build a cross-functional team of analysts to successfully launch the Security, Resilience, and Privacy Center of Excellence• Train analysts to perform various security, resilience, and privacy-related tasks consistent with details provided by subject matter experts in the different focus areas.• Define and refine business processes with a service-focused mindset as they are shifted to the Center of Excellence• Monitor and maintain SLAs for business processes that support requests for our internal stakeholders• Coordinate and collaborate with global stakeholders across Americas, APAC and EMEA• Understand business needs and dependencies, continuously identify areas of improvement• Monitor for and reduce key person risks and increase overall capacity of the team• Learn our business processes and security controls and grow into an escalation point for the analysts as needed• Develop and report on KPIs related to Center of Excellence activitiesQualifications• 5+ years of experience leading/managing operationally focused teams• Strong interpersonal skills for coaching, team building, and working across business units• Exposure to and a working understanding of information security, privacy, and/or enterprise resiliency concepts• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and switch priorities with short notice• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences in an effective manner• Experience designing and implementing workflows and processes in a service-oriented environment• Ability to understand business requirements and design processes and solutions accordingly• Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced, complex environment with the ability to keep the team focused on business objectivesNice to have• Exposure to global teams working in different time zones315_Sustainalytics SRL Legal Entity
