Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be to test software systems, you will review and analyze documentation, specifications, understand the business requirements and reporting Preparation/review of Test strategy, Test plan and estimations Review of software requirements Provide guidance and supervision to more junior testers Write and execute test cases Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans Provide exploratory testing for the systems Write clear and concise defect reports Escalate issues that may affect project deliverables or quality as needed Provide consistent and clear status in verbal and written communications Provide recommendations to improve the development process Occasionally you can be involved in geographically distributed projects Qualifications and Experience Key responsibilities: Over 4 years experience in software testing Experience in Web, API and DB testing Knowledge of Jira - defect tracking tool and test case management tool Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (system testing, system integration testing, UAT, OAT) Experience in functional and non-functional testing, usability and reliability testing Strong analytical and organizational skills attention to details Ability to understand business processes Very good written and spoken English skills The following skills would be a plus: Knowledge in Version control system Git Load and stress testing experience Active experience in Agile (Scrum) delivery process (experience in estimating using story points) ISTQB Certification Experience in automation testing
