Senior Project Manager for End-User Sales Reporting and Business Intelligence in Bucuresti

Who we need:To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a senior Project Manager, who can lead strategic Projects in the End-User Sales Business Intelligence area.In this role it will be important to use your excellent Project Management skills, but also your Sales Process knowledge, to drive the projects in a structured agile way.Our Mission is, to enable data driven decisions to increase Sales Performance and make Sales more efficient by blending Data and Insights into simplified Tools and Processes.Responsibilities:Understand business management processes and improve them, by driving implementation of digital solutions (Reports, Dashboards, Tools)Actively plans and manages project / solution requirements, staffing and timelines with stakeholders and project teamKeeps control over key project milestones, metrics and success factors (AGILE and traditional project management)Focal point and trusted BI & Reporting advisor for assigned stakeholder groups in specific subject areas; first escalation point for stakeholder teamsCommunicates project status/issues and proposes resolution and workaround options to senior managementRuns project post-mortem analysis to capture improvement ideas for future projectsParticipates in organization-wide BI process improvement initiatives to fine tune our BI delivery approach and best practicesApplies advanced project management and quality / process improvement methodologies to assure uniformity, standardization, and repeatability of BI solutionsUnderstand the reporting / dashboard development processes and drive improvementsAbility to build/trouble shoot reporting and analytics that provide actionable business insights, validate hypothesis, carry out enhancements based on business/stakeholder feedback.Desired Skills, Experience & Competencies:Typically 8-10 years work experience in business planning or related functional area.Advanced university degree (e.g. Master) or demonstrable equivalentExcellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently with and within remote teams with minimal daily supervisionDeveloped knowledge and understanding of Business Planning solutions and conceptsStrong business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as leading multiple global virtual project teamsStrong customer focus and ability to handle difficult stakeholder and project conversations; interact with multiple levels of the organization and functional disciplinesMastery in English (written, verbal, presentation) is a must, excellent presentation skillsExperience in working at a large corporation / enterprise in a virtual / global environment is a plusCreativity in problem solvingAdditional Skills that will be considered as a plusExperience with End-User Sales Planning and Management Processes, business intelligence and reporting landscape and the ability to integrate the best practices.Demonstrated understanding of BI technology and experience in leading BI or IT projectsTechno-functional work experience and expertise in functional requirements gathering, data modelling, and conducting initial feasibility study.Basic data modeling and database design understandingExperience with BI visualization tools (Power Bi, QlikView, Spotfire, Business Objects, etc.) and their implementationBasic technical understanding of Microsoft Online Platform, Web Technologies and Databases (leading technical project teams)Experience with corporate Sales, Marketing or ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce.com; Aprimo; etc.) as a distinct advantageIf you want to join our motivated & growing Data and Business Management team to improve our Sales Stakeholder���s lives with great BI Solutions, we are looking forward to your application!#LI-POSTAbout HP You’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible—in your career as well as the world around you.Soare we.
