Project description:
Axway B2Bi is a solution for exchanging and transforming EDI and other file formats between internal applications and partners using a large number of communication protocols. It uses an internal transformation engine to map between different file types allowing customizable transformations. B2Bi supports a large number of communication protocols including AS1, AS2, AS3 AS4, JMS, IBM WebSphere MQ, Web Services and others. To ensure the safety of the communication a component called Secure Relay is used to proxy the communication to external partners. In order to provide the customers with a solution for safely managing their flows Axway directs their effort towards making their solutions secure and keeping up with security standards.
Vital application for many of the big companies in logistics, healthcare, automotive, retail and more, with the main role of transferring and transforming files between different facilities and functions.
Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
- Maintain, improve and extend an advanced java-based testing framework
- New features requested by internal customers (e.g. functional side QA, direct manager and product)
- DevOPS activities: work with Maven, GIT, Jenkins in configuring the needed items for delivering a new version of the framework and its dependencies
- Work closely with QA and support teams in different investigations that are both on functional side (QA) and code (DEV)
- Strong focus on the product quality and integration tests
- Study/analysis tasks establishing the feasibility/impact/estimation of incoming feature requests
- Troubleshooting/investigations within sustaining tickets
- Work in an agile environment.
Qualifications
- OOP and Design Patterns in Java
- Experience with SQL (Oracle or MySQL or MS/SQL Server)
- Automation Test Design patterns
- Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
- DevOPS knowledge: Jenkins, GIT, pipelines, containers
- Observation and reporting: Elastic, Kibana, Fluentd
- PLC Tools: JIRA, confluence
Nice to have:
- Container orchestration
- Advanced JSON concepts
- XML Technologies (EDI, XML, XSD, JABX, XSLT);
