Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.Join us as a Senior Software Engineering Manager on our Engineering Development team in Warsaw, Poland to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you’ll achieveAs a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading an agile software development team, within our global Storage organization, responsible for the industry leading Dell PowerStore storage appliance.  You will:Be the manager and local leader for a team of software engineers based in Warszawa who work closely with other teams across the globe.  (US, Israel, China, India, Russia)  Be responsible for all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of software components following an Agile development methodologyBe the coach for the team – mentoring team members, motivating them, helping them grow, and nurturing a high-performance teamEssential RequirementsUnderstanding of networking area (network programming, network administration, Linux networking, network protocols, etc.)3+ years’ experience as a software developer3+ years’ experience as a team-leader/manager - experience in hiring, training, motivating, coaching, and assessing performance of software engineers.Strong technical and software development background with good knowledge of product development lifecycle, testing principles, and associated tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in spoken and written EnglishDesirable RequirementsGood understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / GCP), operating model, services, best practices, and architecturesKnowledge of at least one primary virtualization stack (vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen) and container technologies (Docker / Kubernetes)BenefitsOur people are the most critical component of our long-term success and their health and well-being are our priority.
