Despre echipa noastrăThe Virtualization Engineer will serve as part of the virtualization team, specializing in software defined datacenter (SDDC) solutions using VMware and Citrix. You will contribute in designing, implementing and support of current VMware vSphere and Citrix XenApp/Desktop based environments in multiple sites, as well as future virtualization implementations, including vSphere, vRA, vRealize, vSAN, SRM, Virtual Apps, ADC (NetScaler) and other virtualization technologies. You will also provide bare-metal installation and support of various server operating systems.Responsabilitatile tale Experience with Citrix and VMware's infrastructure and hyper-converged products is a key success factor here, and also a solid understanding of x86 server architecture complemented by troubleshooting and problem analysis skills Collaborate with networking, application and database teams to provide architectural and technical guidance Proactively review the environment and show initiative to reduce downtime, improve performance of our infrastructure systems and perform capacity planning Create system design and specification documents for virtualization-related elements of the hosting platform Document root cause analysis, action plans and test cases You will be part of on-call rotation and weekend activities when needed Profilul tau Minimum 5 years of experience with designing and managing large-scale VMware virtualization environments (VMware vCenter, vSAN, vROps, vRealize and PowerCli) Minimum 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining Microsoft Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019) and core services Experience with Citrix products including Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop), ADC (NetScaler) VPX/MPX/SDX, as well as commonly integrated products such as StoreFront, Provisioning (PVS), Citrix MCS, App Layering, Profile Management Strong knowledge of DNS, Group Policy and Active Directory Experience with HP and Dell bare-metal hardware and systems management Knowledge of Azure technology is a plus One or more related certifications such as VMware VCAP, VMware VCP, Citrix CCA – V, Citrix CCP – V, Citrix CCE – V Beneficiile tale Attractive salary Being part of digital transformation project that will change the local banking industry Work-life balance and flexible schedule Modern office in The Bridge
