JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryMaintain and apply an effective Quality management system for the Bucharest Service Center and drive strategic quality assurance, control and continuous improvement to deliver right first time to our Customers.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Site owner for:implementation of the local quality priorities in line with Steam Power quality strategy and with local service center objectives.fast and accurate resolution of Customer and internal issues, drives effective corrective and preventive actions to prevent non-occurrence;QMS deployment & compliance in line with GE Steam Power global QMS;data integrity within any quality module in use at service center;ISO certification & compliance;customer feedback process including surveys, analysis and action plans;deployment of effective preventive methods and tools to anticipate issues;development and execution of solid advanced quality plans on high risk situations (e.g. major process change, load increase, NPI,...)Quality Culture action plan;non-conformance management, screening and escalation;QMR Quality data integrity and Defect Prevention Plan;Overall responsibility for Internal Audit execution, for conformance to quality plans, systems, and requirements as per the Internal Audit Plan;Collaborate with peers globally to share and implement best-practices;Develop & implement accurate metrics to drive manufacturing improvements;Lead, develop, coach service center staff on quality methods and key competencies related to critical processes;Site owner for RCA management, including leading RCA's, ensuring standard methodologies and effective Corrective and Preventative Action plans;Support customer meetings and witness inspections when required;Support Q-framework, QMS and ISO audits as required;Ensure adequate training/skills for PQE's, internal auditors, NDT technicians and Quality Control Inspectors;Support regulatory compliance and optimization of quality systems procedures;Work with CI team to drive sustainable process changesQualifications/Requirements:Engineering bachelors Degree and suitable practical experience or equivalent knowledge or work experienceExperience of Lean and alternative continuous improvement methods;Experience in preventive Q tools (FMEA, MSA,…)Proven expertise in RCA and CAPA tools such as Apollo, Tap Root or 8D;Inclusive leadership & communication & coaching skills;Knowledge of generators repair methods and processes;Demonstrated ability to self-direct within defined responsibilities;Must be a team player willing to sacrifice individual goals when needed.Fluency in Romanian and English languages Desired Characteristics:Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Stablished project management skills.Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required.
