description:The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for Hexagon equipment from installation to regular maintenance. You will work in tandem with the aftermarket team and regional sales team to provide product solutions and benefits through analysis of customer requirements.The Service Engineer will report to Aftermarket Manager.Tasks in more detail:Technical activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites;Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues;Prepare accurate and timely service reportsPre-sales and post-sales technical customer support (implementation, trainings, demos);Training documentation – preparing and organizing specialized training courses (for customers and new team members)Requirements: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) Metrology, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent is preferred2 to 3 years of working experience as a service or maintenance engineerSolid GD&T and 3D CAD knowledgeWillingness to travel: up to 70% travel time is requiredDrivers license B category requiredWhat we offer:You will be working for a global company that still maintains a fairly flat structure which will allow you to not only learn all the tricks of the job and so being autonomous within a short amount of time, but also to grow professionally in a working environment surely supportive and friendly.
