Service Engineer, Automation in Bucuresti

We are looking for an energetic and self-driven Field Service Engineer to join our team in Bucharest!In this role you will be performing commissioning, start-ups, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance, on call service and training for Emerson’s and 3rd party vendor’s instrumentation and valve products portfolio at customer’s sites.If this sounds exciting, then this role is for you!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Plan the site visits in accordance with the customer requirements, prepare and verify the required tools, materials/spare parts and safety equipment, make travel and living arrangements as required. Check site safety and work procedures and acquire the work permit. Build a Job Safety Assessment using Safety App. Perform commissioning, start-ups, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance, configurations, calibrations, on call service and training for Emerson instrumentation and valve products portfolio at customer’s sites, according to Emerson Service procedures and European regulations. Report any safety related incident immediately and record it in Velocity EHS portal. Write site/technical reports using Field Service App and acquire customer’s approval in due time. Demonstrate to client and regulatory authorities, the system compliance to specifications and regulations, If required. Complete the requested job in the best way to meet customer’s deadlines and expectations. Perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services. Support Sales Engineers with technical solutions/details if requested. Who You Are:You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message. You step up to handle tough issues. You are confident under pressure.For this Role, You Will Need: Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field, such as automation, electrical, mechanical, computer science or control systems (minimum Technical College level) Minimum 5 years relevant automation/ Electronics experience from process industry, such as: Oil & Gas, Refineries, Chemical, Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical. Knowledge of digital communications – HART, modbus, foundation fieldbus, ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus. Hardware service experience, and technical competencies. Instrumentation experience. Availability to travel and perform call-out services, if applicable. Availability to work offshore, if applicable. Driving license (class B). Proficiency in English – written and spoken.
