Overview:

The Site Manager is responsible and mandated to lead, manage and control all ITC related activities in the project to deliver on requirement, budget and schedule at one or more sites. Supports the Project Manager in representing the project in all ITC related matters towards the customer. Represents the ITC function within the Project Core Team. Ensures all staff receives (or has received) necessary safety and other training for efficient and safe execution. Implements works (including installations, modifications, tests, adjustments) in accordance with processes, requirements and local rules. Mediates with designated local Customer representative for smooth daily operation for the Customer and timely completion in budget of BT obligations. Ensures vehicle/wayside equipment and delivered with required safety functionality of installed and tested products. Ensures observations and incidents are documented and actionned/dispositionned to properly trigger and implement containment actions, problem resolution or closure, as applicable

Specific responsibilities of the role:

  • Leads the Project Core Team in all applicable ITC processes and activities
  • Coordinates ITC team on site. Ensures that sufficient and adequately skilled resources are available to perform the ITC deliverables
  • Ensures that ITC processes are implemented, communicated, used and supported in the project
  • Responsible that all ITC related deliverables as described in the WBS are performed in a timely manner and delivered in accordance with contract requirements, through planning, communication and control
  • Responsible to report to Project Core Team progress of the ITC related activities and assist the Project Manager with ITC matters during project reviews.
  • Manages a control-system for monitoring activities and action progress at the field sites.
  • Coordinate the time schedules. Supervise the planning and execution of all site works.
  • Reviews ITC project plan with costumer
  • Follow-up our sub-contractors responsibilities.
  • Responsible, within the context of the specific project, to ensure that delivered products receives agreed rectification through retrofit programs and similar.
  • Ensures that field experience and field-data is feed-back to the project in accordance with the ITC processes during start-up, design, realization and field support phases.
  • Participates in the project preparation. Responsible, together with the Project Manager, to establish the ITC plan, including the clear definition and agreement for the use of the customer’s infrastructure, the installation, testing and commissioning plan of the field components, the implementation of a rigorous incident management organization, the follow-up of the NCRs, the engagement of suppliers and the related claim management, the management of the required ITC staff, etc.
  • Implements and enforces EHS requirements on site with the support of EHS team representatives
  • Conduct and record regular occupational safety and environmental tours and assure that identified issues are followed up.
  • Experience & Qualification:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Typically five-year experience as Site Manager
  • Minimum eight years of relevant experience
  • English : advanced level
  • Computer knowledge: MS Office
  • Bulgarian language will be a plu
