Project Description Working as part of DevOps/Support team in BigData environment close to several Agile development teams with participation in solutions design, software development, testing and deployment. As part of the team you will be participating in support of existing Spark applications at all stages as well as onboarding of new applications including deployment process building and automation. Responsibilities Build and support monitoring toolset Investigating and resolving applications issues escalated by production support team, monitoring or development teams Infrastructure and capacity planning Environment accessibility management Management of the Configuration Baseline Bash/Python/SQL scripting Support and update system configuration in UAT and PROD on user request Support and manager rules for homegrown business rule engine Support setup of new business flows and client migration on the platform Investigate booking and allocation issues by log, code, database analysis Manage UAT environment and support deployment in PROD Effective communication with stakeholders Accurate tasks progress and time reporting Prepare release instruction for support team Supporting and updating platform documentation Provide SQL reports for support team Skills Must have You have good SQL knowledge You have understanding of SDLC You have experience in production support and working with Java or Python code in a production system You are able communicator and team player, highly autonomous You have outstanding problem solving skills You are comfortable working in an Agile environment You have 2+ years experience in Linux administration You have experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch for microservice architectures, ideally, with experience in TeamCity/Jenkins You are fluent in Bash/Shell and at least one other programming/scripting language, preferably Python Nice to have You have experience creating, deploying and supporting Docker images and are familiar with parts of the ecosystem such as OpenShift or Kubernetes Java/Scala experience Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Senior
