Porsche Engineering Romania is currently looking for a Software Test Engineer to join the team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We would like you to be part of our digitalization future. You can contribute your talent in testing and assisting new applications from the concept phase to production release, suitable for different areas of activity, ranging from Car Services to different testing activities around the Porsche performance vehicles. Each application comes with new challenges and a new domains to learn in order to set up the performance oriented environment we all desire as part of the Porsche Group.
- You perform manual testing, review documentation and write test reports
- Writing and executing test scripts is your area of responsibility
- You collaborate in ongoing internal initiatives concerning QA design, processes, and analysis
- You perform extensive functionality, integration, regression and end-to-end system testing independently or within the team
- You troubleshoot, analyze and isolate defects and report them to an issue and project tracking software
- You investigate, reproduce and characterize defects and test failures resulted from customer feedback
- You handle the possibility to branch into automation testing
- You assist all development phases of project as being part of the Agile/Scrum Development Team
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
- You have several years of professional experience in software testing and testing methodologies
- You have experience with Postman or other API clients
- Ideally, you have experience with Selenium and Python
- You are familiar with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence or any other bug and project tracking software
- You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required.
