Job Requisition ID #21WD46914Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a civil engineering professional to be part of the team developing our flagship BIM solution. If you have a passion for IT, and a desire to help build the software used by engineers and detailers world-wide, join our Software Quality Assurance team and bring your experience in the industry, likely using Autodesk software, to test and improve our products.As a key member of a small and autonomous scrum team, you will work closely with the developers, designers and product owner to evolve the Revit platform and help our customers build the next iconic projects.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user stories and specifications to create test cases for new features, supplement and improve existing testing where applicableExecutes tests to find defects in features. Isolate and confirm defects and work with developers to prioritize and verify the fixValidate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardwareLog defects in JIRA for tracking and reportingRecord and maintain automatic regression tests (using Revit's internal test automation framework)Provide measurements of software quality and reliability to the product leadershipSimulate user experience for the developed product featuresOrganize and participate in production exercisesMonitor customer newsgroups and beta forums to detect defects in production softwareParticipate in release, Alpha and Beta testing activitiesParticipate in the task estimation processWork with the scrum team to proactively recognize and prevent issues from occurringMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in an engineering disciplineExperience working with BIM and/or CAD software for WindowsClear verbal and written English communication skillsGood interpersonal skills.
