We are looking for an independent strategic buyer who is interested in logistics markets and managing his own portfolio. Strong emphasis is put on driving sustainability, seeking synergies and opportunities within the market. If you are the one, in our role you will:
Execute sourcing events, negotiations and contracts with new or existing suppliers with focus on Road & Rail in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category, in a compliant and efficient mannerChallenge and enrich the Categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategiesIdentify and implement best business partnerships in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholdersAlign and cooperate with Supply Chain, contributing towards overall operational excellenceUse eSourcing tools as well as our transport management system (TMS) to prepare and run sourcing eventsMentor Category support teams in the Center of Excellence (CoE)Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new commercial opportunitiesQualifications
Your skills:
On the position, we offer to provide you with the top advanced negotiation training and supplier network. You will work with top market sourcing system and excellent supplier management program. In the meantime, we expect you possess great negotiation skills and analytical thinking. Apart from these, we require you have:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of Logistics, Indirect Materials & Services or Direct Materials for a global companyMaster’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply ChainAn open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our companyProject management knowledge and team player attitudeExcellent English on top communication levelAdditional Information
