Your new responsibilities The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking a Supervisor – Collections/Legal Support in Atlanta, GA.Responsible for training and support of Administrative Assistants team supporting the Legal and Collections and functions. This position is directly responsible for training and support for the collections Admin staff. The individual carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. All hiring, coaching, performance management and terminations are to be in coordination with HR support and approval.Essential duties and responsibilities: Motivates and Monitors the performance of admins by engaging in the performance management process, monthly performance reviews, and holding employees accountable for meeting their goals. Rewards and recommends employee discipline as necessary.Review and prepare legal files, which includes but not limited to a full account reconciliation associated with backup materials (i.e., Contracts, Invoices, Repair Orders, and Time Tickets) for necessary or appropriate support for preparing the final submission of the Legal Package to an Attorney or AgencyCollaborate with Managers, Supervisors, and Collectors for compiling the required legal\ packet, i.e., documents.Ensures team is responding timely and accurately to requests for notary services, lien waivers, contracts on credit hold, change requests, demand letters, COI requests, vendor set ups, returned mail and other miscellaneous administrative requests.Follow up for weekly and/or monthly vendor updates to make certain the vendor is actively working and progressing in handling of our account placement. Maintains the data input and notes update on current basis within the Litigation/Legal ReportOversees the production of daily, weekly and monthly reportingResponsible for processing approved vendor’s requests, invoices, miscellaneous correspondence and ADHOC reportingAct as primary liaison with our Bankruptcy AttorneyTraining and communication within the Collections Department on direction pertaining to any bankruptcy customersAttend trials, depositions, hearings, video conferencing and any other needs for representation of TKE as Records Custodian role, as needed by any of our 3rd party placement vendors.Prepare Credit Memos along with the appropriate backup materials involved with the administrative support processes involved in the management of the customer account; i.e., Change Billing Name, Ongoing/Active Account Rollbacks, Give customer credit (goodwill or otherwise), New Owner requiring new account setup, and Cancellation Rollbacks.Performs other duties as assigned What we look for 2 to 5+ years related experience in a legal support leadership roleHigh school diploma or GED and one-year certificate from college or technical school; orequivalent combination of education and experienceElevator industry or service-related field experienceLien laws, stop notices and bond claims experienceBankruptcy law and claims experienceAbility to read and interpret business contracts, technical procedures and government regulationsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesAbility to effectively supervise team members and work as a member of that team and organize work activities for other members of that teamDemonstrated coaching/mentoring skills and issue resolution problem solving skillsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Additional information TK Elevator is an equal opportunity employer and committed to diversity.
