Talent Acquisition Analyst in Alexandria

Sparks Group is partnered with a local government agency looking for you! The Talent Acquisition Analyst will partner with Hiring Managers and Departmental Recruitment Coordinators to strategize and execute on hiring plans to bring top talent into the organization. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, onsite for the city of Alexandria, VA. 61-65K based of experience. Responsibilities: · Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Web-based recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals· Evaluates the resumes of prospective candidates and determines degree of skill match; recommends or declines appropriately and forwards qualified candidate resumes to the hiring manager for review· Tracks candidate activity from initial resume submittal to hire in the applicant tracking system (ATS)· Conducts initial employment screening interviews by e-mail, phone, face-to-face, or other platforms· Coordinates all interview logistics and interfaces with candidates effectively during the recruiting and evaluation process Qualifications/Background Profile: To be considered an ideal candidate, a candidate should possess a four-year college degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field seven years of professional recruiting experience Some knowledge of Federal, State and City laws, ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to human resource management; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities) familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
