Responsibilities: Lead and optimize equipment performance within the tire production process, ensuring maximum efficiency. Analyze overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance performance. Provide regular performance reports, identifying failures, root causes, and corrective measures. Supervise and collaborate with maintenance teams and suppliers to resolve technical production issues by implementing appropriate preventive maintenance actions. Utilize specialized engineering and design software to optimize automation processes. Ensure fast and effective troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment, coordinating team efforts to address technical challenges. Contribute to the development and updating of work procedures while training the team on proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate and analyze technical proposals, equipment specifications, and supplier manuals to ensure compliance with company requirements. Oversee the installation and commissioning of high-tech, process-controlled manufacturing equipment. Maintain active communication with equipment suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of operational challenges and production requirements. Conduct research and analysis to assess the feasibility, functionality, and performance of automated equipment and systems. Evaluate the work of internal teams and external partners to ensure technical compliance and efficiency in solving complex engineering challenges. Ensure complete and accurate documentation of automation programs and control systems, adhering to company and industry standards. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external teams, ensuring clear information flow and alignment on project objectives. Support and promote Nokian's mission and values, demonstrating aligned behaviors in daily activities. Other duties as required. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related). Proven experience in leading technical teams, particularly in industrial automation. Advanced knowledge of industrial controller (PLC) programming according to IEC 61131-3 standards. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in industrial software: identifying variables, parameters, and signals from sensors and actuators. Ability to navigate and, if necessary, modify equipment software according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Understanding of automatic control principles and electric drive systems. Advanced English proficiency.
