Technical Sales Engineer - Chemicals in Ploieşti

Reporting to local Service Delivery Manager. The purpose of the role is to provide field / on-site support to oilfield chemical applications in Romania and maintain close contact with customers on a daily basis. This role will involves field trips to customer sites to support business as required (~ 50% of the working time). Use of internal CRM applications to capture business opportunities and monitor progress.Responsibilities:Provide regularly technical service on existing applications as well as on new projects, for the allocated production areas, direct monitor of existing applications (performance indicators, consumptions, stocks, customer satisfaction, ...) by regularly site visits,Execution of field and lab tests which have been agreed with the account/service manager.Alters product dosages rates and/or changes product applications in order to meet customer defined objectives. Activates/deactivates feed systems on the basis of safety or performance related determinationsPreparation of technical reports based of field, laboratory (BHGE and external) work.Frequently required to make independent decisions on acceptability of measured results which determine the effectiveness of applied programs.Troubleshoots and corrects systems that are out of the customer provided specifications, to determine the need to bring in additional support if the problems are determined to be too extensive or unique.Meets with customers for schedules or ad hoc reviews of treatment program status. Prepare in time and accurate agreed monthly reports for the Customer Field Managers and BH.Determines the need to order product and place product orders for customers who elect to have the order fulfilment process managed by BHGE on their behalf. Co-ordinate with Customer Service Group and provide necessary information, Installation (or supervision of installation) and servicing of monitoring and injection equipment,Co-ordination with Technical Service Groups and in order to issue comprehensive sales oriented reports and recommendations, handle special projects as assigned; act as part of the team and support team efforts to fulfil customer requirements.Experience RequiredIdeally degree qualified in Chemistry / Petroleum Industry or a relevant subject.Chemical experience in petroleum industry is required – ideally to have sales experience in the oil & gas industryAn oilfield background is essential for this role.Advanced PC and software experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).Fluent/Advanced Romanian and English language skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A full clean driving licence.About Us:With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
