The Technical & Specification Expert`s role is working closely with the other members of the Specification team, Sales and Project Management team and other ASSA ABLOY business colleagues to develop and maximise opportunities and convert Specifications to Orders for respective market. This role will report to the Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Romania.
Key responsibilities:

Build and deliver a robust pipeline of Specification projects, to support sales growth for ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Romania;

Initiate and support related Technical & Sales activities, to generate customer engagement and drive growth;

Provides expertise and technical support in preparing and negotiating the Sales Team quotations and sale contracts;
-
Conduct Project management and post-installation surveys;
-
Be a subject-matter expert in ASSA ABLOY products and solutions and any related standard, regulation and norm;

Create and deliver compliant ASSA ABLOY complete door openings specification solutions, including doors, hardware and access control;

Represent ASSA ABLOY in any relevant project meetings;

Obtain all required information to enable a fluent specification process, and validate that deliverables are compliant with ASSA ABLOY KPI, local regulations, and customer/project requirements;
- Provide to the customers complete and compliant ASSA ABLOY door opening solutions deliverables including hardware and door schedules, bills of quantities, quotations, etc.;
- Support value added sales and marketing activities and events to promote ASSA ABLOY solutions;
- Conduct product training, demonstrations and promotions to customers;

Write specification from time to time as required to support demand;
- Meet agreed upon goals and objectives that include targeted specification volumes and focus product groups, targeted Specification solution opportunities and their conversion to orders,
You will be our choice if you have:

Strong understanding of architect practices, specifiers, contractors and end-users within related markets;

Good understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling), Green Buildings and market trends;

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
-
Educated in a related domain or extensive working experience in Door and Hardware Specification and related norms and regulations
-
Degree in Architecture or Construction Management, a plus;
-
LEED, BREEAM or alternative local scheme credentials, a plus;

Working experience in sales and/or technical roles, a plus;
-
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents including door schedules, floor plans, elevations, wiring diagrams, etc.;

Strong computer skills and working knowledge of major Microsoft 'Office Suite' software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required;

Knowledge of Autodesk® AutoCAD®, Autodesk® Revit® Architecture or GRAPHISOFT® ARCHICAD® software, a plus;

Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and exercise effective time management;

Strong communication skills and professional presentation skills;

Ability to travel as required for the role;
