WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
Work with a multi-disciplined Tech Support team to produce professional & creative designs for a range of different projects.Heat loss calculation of piping and equipment’s.Electrical floor heating designs.Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings & material take off’s using in-house design software programsPrimary point of contact for troubleshooting installation issues & start-up assistance for thermostats & Control panels & communication to DCSUnderstand technical in-depth Building and Infrastructure Solutions product lines and relevant (Special) Applications for which they can be usedReview received RFQ’s both technically and commercially; analyze customer provided data and develop technical solutions that exceed client expectations whilst enhancing nVent Thermal Management chances of securing an orderInterpret piping and diagrams, plot plans, piping isometrics, piping plan drawings, piping specifications, roof/gutter and floor drawings and bills of materialQuantify and compare alternative solutions that can be presented as part of our submission to the clientProvide technical supportYOU HAVE:
Bachelor or Master Degree (Electrical, Mechanical)Experience in or with power distribution and/or heat tracing applications and/or control and monitoring and/or communication to DCS systems is welcome but not mandatoryIf you want to develop professionally in an international environment this a starting point for a successful careerComputer literate – able to utilize in-house design software packages, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)Proficiency in Architectural and/or Engineering drawings (process flow, electrical one lines, piping schematics)Be a self-starter / self-motivated, detail orientated and a good communicator (both written and oral)Language: advanced level of EnglishStrong communication/interpersonal skills especially over the phoneProblem solving under adverse time constraintsAbility to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities to satisfy customer requestsCapability to follow standard work processes and help create them when neededWE HAVE:
