What we expect The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Test Engineer I in Middleton, TN.Support the manufacture of quality electronic products through the development and maintenance of electronic test equipment. Technical contributor in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of basic to moderately complex test equipment used in manufacturing operations, and with local suppliers.Essential Functions Design test equipment for PC boards and control systems. Document test equipment designs using Microsoft Office and AutoCad for basic to moderately complex testsResearch and purchase test equipment (Hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, etc.) for basic to moderately complex testsDevelop computer automated test programs or ISO approved test procedures for basic to moderately complex testsOrder equipment for test development (date acquisition hardware, vacuum fixtures, software, power supplies, etc.) for basic to moderately complex testsAssemble and wire test equipment (drilling mounting holes, mounting hardware, labeling, wiring, etc.) for basic to moderately complex testsSupport Quality requests for test modifications and improvements for basic to moderately complex testsTrain production employees to operate test equipment, and when necessary, help troubleshoot products in a production environment for basic to moderately complex tests for basic to moderately complex testsWork with TKE vendors of electronics to help them establish testing for basic to moderately complex testsTroubleshoot problems with electronic circuitry, variable frequency drives, and elevator control systems for basic to moderately complex testsProvide assistance in resolving quality issues including field complaints and warranty issues for basic to moderately complex testsSupport Test Equipment Projects as a team memberReport status, metrics, and updates as needed to local management teams Who we are looking for 0-2 years of experience working in electronicsExperience programming in one or more software languages: Lab-View, Visual Basic, C Sharp, Visual C++, Test Stand or similar software packageBachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field is requiredEffective decision-making skills are required and the ability to work well with othersMust possess effective verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office is requiredKnowledge of electrical systemsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Additional information TK Elevator is an equal opportunity employer and committed to diversity.
