TSN - AES BU - Mid Integration & Verification Engineer (L2PF Project) in Bucuresti

The purpose of the Level 2 Processing Facility (L2PF) is to generate Level 2 (L2) products containing estimates of geophysical parameters for dissemination to end-users and for archiving. L2 products are disseminated for use in near-real-time applications, including Now Casting (NWC) and Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) and climate monitoring.Job summary:As part of Integration, Validation and Verification activities of MTG-L2PF, you will have to integrate, deploy and test the software.Your mission is:Receive, deploy and test patches from L2PF (PI or APE software);Train the development team to improve their integration/deployment skills.Required competencies/experience: You can fluidly interact with English (and even better French) speaking team in an international project with many nationalities;You have significant experience in IVV activities;You have good knowledge in configuration management and continuous integration using Git, Maven and Jenkins;You have good knowledge in System deployment and monitoring with Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible on physical or Cloud environment;You can read and write documentation in English;You are rigorous in applying working processes;You are autonomous and proactive on your tasks;You like teamwork and knowledge sharing.At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
