For our customer, a multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company, we are looking for a WAREHOUSE SHIFT LEADER .
Location: Aricestii Rahtivani, Ploiesti
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- Have a special focus on the daily running activities on Finished Goods warehouse;
- Organize the team in order to cover all daily tasks
- Support all the operators (Clamp drivers, Manual workers) for all the daily activities with regards flows, procedures, working instructions
- Interact with all departments from the factories in order to solve all issues related finished goods
- Embraces the changes, leading her/his team through process and business changes
- Leads projects in her/his area and collaborates with other departments.
- Implements programs, policies and specific procedures, coordinates the resources to achieve the department, site and business goals
- REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES:
- University degree
- 4/5 years’ experience in logistics.
- 4/5 years’ experience in leading teams
- Fluent English (written, spoken and by phone), a second language (nice to have)
- Knowledge of the production processes and final products
- Leading teams skills

- Availability for business travels abroad

FINISHED PRODUCT LOADING COORDINATION
- Guarantee that the finished product loading is carried out correctly and optimize finished product transport and load costs.
- Receive shipping orders and verify them.
- Verify the arrival of means of transport.
- Organize, based on shipping orders and means of transport, the work of loading operators.
- Verify, in order to avoid errors, all the loads, visually checking quantity.
- STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Check the correctness of the finished goods transfers from production
- Take care that the stock is in the correct location both physically and system, based on its status (finished goods, damaged goods, quarantine, returns,…)
- PEOPLE
- Check team presence at work
- Check if the activities set for the shift start are completed (checklist forklift)
- HR MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATION
- Directly attend to the organization and management of operators with the aim to optimize the way they are positioned, both in terms of efficiency and flexibility.
- Responsible for performance reviews as per the company`s procedure
- Coordinate the working activity of collaborators defining priorities and areas of action.
- APPLICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY LEGISLATION
- Ensure that environmental hygiene, work-place safety and injury prevention legislation is complied with.
- Take direct charge of the management of all workplace safety issues.
- Suggest and execute all necessary actions to maintain and/or improve safety conditions
