The application supports the commercial and organizational quotation process for products and systems of Siemens AG. General aim of the application is an increase of efficiency, as well as the reduction of cycle times and, linked with this, the cost savings concerning quotation editing.Your new role
- Working on a Middleware application used to manage the data transfers betweenseveral APIs
- Create, Change and Maintain new and existing workflows
- Development of SQL queries
- Application administration (updates, standard configurations for Dev, Test andLive)
- Application and Worfklow monitoring
- Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for bothtechnical and business suitability
- Work with JIRA (Kanban Board) ticketing system
- Analyze, Process and Document incoming incidents and service requests in atimely manner
- Maintenance and usage of a knowledge database (Confluence)
- BPM workflow design
- Create, Change and Maintain the new and existing scrips written in Java andintegrated within the Workflows
- Data transformation using XSLT/Xpath
- Attend weekly meetings for testing new workflows and review the existingincidents and changes
- Your qualifications
- IT technical background
- Basic SQL
- Basic Java Programming skills
- A good understanding of how webservices work (Soap/Rest)
- Know-how to use WinSCP/Filezilla, SoapUI/PostMan
- Very good analytical cognitive abilities
- High degree of customer orientation, service readiness and adaptability
- Sociable and communicative attitude
- OOP
- Experience with other ETL solutions or Fileshare/SFTP/JDBC implementations inany programming language would be considered a plus
