Applications Sales Support Team Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of the Oracle Apps Sales Support team.

Ensure compliance with company revenue recognition policies for booking and provisioning of orders.

Provide leadership to the team to gain understanding of business priorities and challenges, to ensure the deal fulfillment.

Handle day-to-day Sales Support related activities, which include coordinating support calls, tracking support and/or sales activities and evaluating cost management effectiveness.

Provide technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision and set priorities to ensure task completion.

Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs.

Provide effective recruitment and performance management: set clear goals for all team members, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year.

Manage the activities of the team according to overall organization strategy and budgets through motivation and maintaining high level of individual / team performance

Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as on Migrations, Invoicing, Royalties Collection, Burndown reporting to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.

Manage relationship with stakeholders effectively, facilitate discussions on complex topics, collaborate and drive towards solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in current role and 1+ years in a team leader/people management position.

Fluency in English and another foreign language an advantage

Strong Business acumen and organizational process knowledge

 

 

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 

 

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency. Provides business practices and processes. Drives policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization*s operational and financial business objectives. Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and/or contracts. May also be responsible for administration, knowledge management, and/or communications.

Develops and monitor P&L forecasts. Develops and monitor metrics to measure other key performance indicators and group performance. Performs competitive analysis. Creates pricing strategy and cost accounting (business modeling) for projects. Reviews contracts for terms, pricing and approvals. Work with account team to close deals. Interfaces with client to resolve contract/delivery disputes. May be responsible for directing resource management staff, ensuring maximum utilization. May be involved with compensation and bonus process. Manage at least two direct reports.

Coordinates the daily activities of a work group, setting priorities to ensure task completion. Provides technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. BA/BS degree preferred.
