Role Overview
The Associate Application Specialist works on client projects to support setup, maintenance and decommissioning while ensuring delivery of robust, high-quality eCOA solutions using TrialMax and Patient Engagement platforms. A background in SQL and languages such as Java and Python gives you the skills you need to learn our proprietary language. In addition to the pure technical skills you will be learning about our industry and that of our clients, in addition to being a specialist in the Signant Health applications you will gain business analysis skills to interpret client needs and develop an appropriate solution for a clinical study.
Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence
- Assist requirement gathering and business analyst tasks for eCOA collection, reporting and data post-processing components
- Support development, review and approval of project related study documentation during the course of the Project Lifecycle, ensure documentation is complete and of a high quality
- Assists the development of eCOA solutions using TrialMax platform (Web, Slate, Touch, App) according to the requirements gathered and interpretation of the client clinical protocol
- Implement custom data post-processing tools, using Java or other programming languages
- Support the deployment of the mHealth Patient Engagement platform
- Create standard online reports in TrialManager web portal, using SQL
- Ensure knowledge and understanding remains up-to-date with new release and updates from both TrialMax and Patient Engagement platforms
- Perform billable application work
- Assist in troubleshooting potential issue/bug and perform Device Investigations
- Promote and maintain Signant Health’s high-quality, professional, service-oriented company image
- Remain compliant to the internal Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support onboarding and training/mentoring of new hires
- Domestic and International Travel as necessary
- Other responsibilities will be assigned as required
