Experience:
- Degree in Automotive Engineering, preferably in Mechatronics, Material sciences, or comparable
- Experience in professional 3D CAD system is a plus
- Interest to gain experience in professional 3D CAD system is mandatory
- International experience by studying, or working in foreign countries is a plus
- Experience with designing with plastic composite materials (e.q. fiber reinforced components) is preferred
- Knowledge in material sciences (composites) is a strong plus
- Knowledge in compression molding and injection molding technology is a plus
- Knowledge in tool making and plastic technology is a plus
- Experience in automotive industry is a plus
- Experience in use of V-methodology for mechatronics systems is a plus
- Experience with computer programming is a plusCAE experience is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to development and on time delivery of fuel, battery and SCR systems and components
- Proactively create and change CAD 3D data
- Perform ongoing vehicle package clearance analysis
- Take responsibility for creation, review with drawing checker and change of drawings
- Apply Kautex and customer requirements to drawings
- Implement standard special characteristics on Kautex drawings and check applicability
- Be responsible for the datum system (request confirmation from gauge supplier, quality, plant, manufacturing, PDT (product development team)
- Understand and apply customer OEM standards
- Application of Kautex guidelines, GD&T concepts, standards and components
- Data management in PLM system
- Maintain Kautex Standard Check Lists
- Perform Simulations in the Design Loop
- Actively participate in Design and Drawing Reviews
- Support design cost calculations
- Support creation/ improvement of standards, guidelines and best practices
- Data transfer with DDX Trufusion
- Release of CAD data in customer database, when requiredRegular business trips to manufacturing locations to understand production process
