Business Development Manager/Sales Manager based on Bucharest for pharma, detergents and cosmetics division

and Turkey. Is ranked among the Top 50 European Chemical Distributors (ICIS).

• Is a crucial Supply Chain Linkage of Chemical Manufacturers and

Chemical Users. Provides B2B Distribution Solutions for Industrial and specialty chemicals for> 35 years.

• With a portfolio of over> 6,000 products and a world-class supplier base, The Company offers holistic solutions to> 15,000 customers.

Who are we looking for:

The person will be responsible for the sales and development of the specified products - pharmaceuticals, detergents, cosmetics, including responsibility for optimized customer service and the purchase of new customers. This person has proven through his career a real passion for customer relationship development, along with outstanding sales results.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

The role:

  • Responsible for developing & implementing the commercial strategy & the budget of the relevant Business
  • Unit, through client relationships, accurate and ongoing sales pipeline, development of the company’s branding and professional profile, creation of revenue opportunities etc., in close collaboration with the team of Sales Managers.
  • Responsible of generating new ideas & sources of revenue through suppliers and products for growth of the Business Unit.
  • Direct, support and develop a dynamic team of Sales Managers, through role-model sales attitude & actions, through accurate & objective measurement of results, and through focus on the development & reward of people.
  • The success of this role will be measured by reaching business targets of the Business Unit (Turnover, Gross Profit, Expenses etc) discussed and decided in the annual Budget, keeping at the same time a strong morale and engagement in the team.

Education

  • University academic background in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnologies/ Pharmaceutical or business degree desirable

Experience

  • Solid experience in medical device business with proven career progression.
  • In excess of 3 years, direct selling experience required, preferable in in sales of chemicals & raw materials; with a good knowledge of opinion leaders and of the main products and competitors;
  • A good working knowledge of how to increase profits, for Company
  • 1-8 years working experience in R&D or production departments within the relevant market manufacturers.
  • Familiar and relationships with existing network within the relevant Market manufacturers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Raw Materials and Ingredients, and local market product trends & needs of the relevant Market manufacturers Competencies
  • Excellent collaboration, communication skills and good team player

  • Proven track record of goal orientation & previous wins in meeting and exceeding targets set.
  • Passion about growing the business.
  • Ability to build long term relationships with clients and to bring in new business across region.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities & duties.
