How could you help us do this?
We need a to join our team in Bucharest an to help us ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company.
The finance team gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.
What kind of work would you be doing?

Provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives;

Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope;

Forecasts financial results within a broad scope;

Lead business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance;

Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engage in the design;

Represent the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes;

Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts;

What achievements should you have so far?

We think in order to add immediate value and to succeed in this role, you should have 5-7 years of financial experience within some sort of corporate environment. Exposure to a tech company would be great, but we are flexible on this!

In order to be able to build meaningful relationships with all of your colleagues in this region, we do need a fluent English speaker.

If you also have a degree in a relevant subject (economic, finance, business operations), great!
What about you?

You need to be a natural relationship builder, highly personable and be able to write appealing and relevant content.
Of course, if you have at least 5-7 years of financial experience, you will know all about finance principles, practices, tactics and tools.
You need to be able to get your colleagues as excited about your activity as you are, so you need to be confident and persuasive. Being able to articulate the benefits and outcomes of your ideas is essential to gain buy-in.
