This department is expected to irrigate the entire Orange GroupWhat you'll be doing Understand overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions. Apply technical knowledge to architect solutions that meet business needs, create data transformation roadmaps, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments Provide best of breed, fit for purpose data engineering and architectural recommendations leveraging Cloud & traditional on-premise data services. Work with business analysts to model the data landscape, obtain data extracts and define secure data exchange approaches Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems into Big Data platforms and Data Warehouse database Design and implement data engineering processes leveraging ETL tools, spark jobs and SQL based data transformation, processing both structured and unstructured data Align with different development teams the interfaces and solutions defined Development, creation of the related functional and technical documentation Performance testing for the implemented solutions Understanding, assessing and mapping the data landscape. Maintaining our Information Security standards on the engagement. Good understanding of CI-CD concepts and practical experience in deploying data transformation jobs using CI-CD frameworks Be accountable for creating end-to-end solutions on industry leading data platform offerings Collaborate with data scientists to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle, and prepare data for use in their advanced analytical models. Ability to work independently, leading a workstream effectively, and on a team Passionate about mentoring of other team members Strong soft skills that you can bring to bear to drive organizational and operational transformation Understanding of cloud-based deployments and ability in working with public cloud frameworks (such as Google Cloud or AWS) Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community Work according to agile methodology framework, leading agile teams and training others, consulting with key stakeholders to ensure analytical solutions meet business needs.What you need to know/have English - fluent Good experience of working with large data sets (preferably telecom data) Good understanding and usage of SQL-PL/SQL in the context of data warehouse solutions - minimum 5 year experience developing in SQL-PL/SQL Experience in tuning complex DWH/BI (based on SQL-PL/SQL) environments as far as data volumes Experienced in ETL process design and data flows optimization Advanced technical knowledge of Oracle specific database structures (indices, partitions, data dictionary, explain plans…) Previous experience in usage of ETL (ODI/ INFORMATICA) Good knowledge of Spark in context of streaming as well as in batch processing context Experience with workflows in big data platforms Experience with Google Cloud products: Dataproc, Bigquery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage Databases knowledge (incl.
