What does agens.digital actually do?

There are different answers to this. One says “Unified Commerce” or “Digital Commerce”, the other says: “agens.digital advises, develops and implements customer-centered processes and digital solutions for the customer contact of tomorrow”.

These tasks are waiting for you:

As a developer (m / f / d) you are responsible within your team for the technical conception and implementation of digital functions and processes.
You ensure that formal and content-related requirements for functions and processes are met and you are responsible for quality assurance including documentation.
You plan the sprints and their goals together with your team and help to achieve the sprint goal.
You create the rules of the game for development and the technical infrastructure together with all other developers.


What you bring with you as a backend developer:

Having fun programming and wanting to contribute your knowledge and skills to teams
Sound experience with: PHP7 / 8, database systems, CI / CD, application / performance monitoring, unit testing
Technological vision, communicative clarity, creative drive, willingness to learn


As a full stack developer, you bring:

Having fun programming and wanting to contribute your knowledge and skills to teams
Well-founded experience with: ECMAScript and a JS framework (Vue.js / React), PHP, markup / CSS, integration / end-to-end testing

What you bring with you as a front-end developer:

Well-founded experience with: markup / CSS, browser technologies, Photoshop / image processing, integration / end-to-end testing

This is still important to us

Fluent in English
German language at least in basics (reading = HUGE advantage, speaking = welcome)
Remote probation period (6 month) possible,
then in certain circumstances move to the Cologne/Bonn area

You can work independently, but always have a coach and mentor by your side if necessary. Most of the time you work from your home office. We are flexible with day and week working hours. We will personally discuss the number of days and hours per week and a possible very interesting salary plus additional benefits.
